Healthier A-1 Steak Sauce

Confession time! I am a complete freak for sauce. Food for me is just a vessel for the many sauces I consume. Top of my list includes A-1 sauce. My favorite food vessels for this sauce are burgers and oddly enough mashed potatoes.

Problem is, A-1 sauce is loaded with sugar and chemicals that I personally prefer not to consume. So I took some initiative and came up with a healthy swap that I hope you will enjoy as well.

Healthy A-1 Hack Recipe

  • 2 tablespoons Primal Ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon of aged balsamic
  • 1 tablespoon date syrup
  • 1 tablespoon coconut aminos
  • 1/4 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric salt (or just salt)
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Wisk together and enjoy!
