Texas Summer Sale

The Texas Summer Sale was created to localize and compliment the Big World Sale. My assistance was requested to help strategize execution for San Antonio. A destination page was created to promote tourism with a call to action to book via dynamic landing page for the market. Retailing, social media and brand newsletters all highlighted the campaign. The Texas Summer Sale generated 6k reservations, 11k room nights and $1.1M in revenue for San Antonio.

Miraval Resorts: Mindful Giving

Miraval Resort is a resort and spa that specializes in renovating the mind, body and soul through a unique offering of activities that are therapeutic. The “Mindful Giving” contest was created from a request to create a holiday giveaway that would resonate with their audience. Inspirational quotes are the most shared content on all of their social channels so we used Miraval branded images with quotes and a Mindful Giving logo overlay to promote the contest. Promotion was across Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and the blog. The contest generated 2,000 entries and an additional 3,000 fans across all social media channels.

Event Cinemas (AU) – Frozen Coke Campaign

Event Cinemas is the largest cinema chain in Australia with over 150 local cinemas under the brand. In 2011 I started writing content for the main Facebook Page with 60,000 fans. I coordinated consistent branding, paid media, weekly content tracking and contests across all branded and local market channels along with 9 product pages with a total of 800,000 fans today.  Along the way I picked up 4 awards for receiving a 3:1 ROI on a Movie Marathons campaign, best Facebook Page for Event Cinemas and a Frozen Coke contest that had thousands of Australians creating their own flavors.

Renaissance Dallas: Event Space Renovation

In celebration of the new $14 million renovated event space, the Renaissance Dallas Hotel is giving away a wedding worth $100,000. The campaign includes a blog and an interactive Facebook application that will allow fans to vote on their favorite couple and eventually plan the entire wedding. Below, Phase 1 is complete with 6 finalists from the 14 video entries received.

Fill-In-The-Blankie: Ecommerce. Marketing and PR

Fill-In-The-Blankie  made highly customizable baby blankets sold only online. My job was to optimize the website based off of the most recent Google algorithm which meant earning links from high ranking blogs. I created a media kit with instructions, photos and links to other relevant links about the company to help bloggers create content using the keywords we needed the most. The very first Facebook and Twitter account were created to maintain conversations with bloggers and YouTube was used to post all television media gained from our PR company.

I have created full-scale digital branding guides and internal processes as resources for both client and agency. Each Friday I run a social media training session for client managers and SEO team members to give up-to-date information on how they can utilize social media. Training Marriott International marketing executives about social media basics, tools, KPIs and trends.

If you cant track success is it worth the time? I don’t think so. I have extensive knowledge using Adobe tracking, Google analytics, Tableau, and social media campaign reporting tools. I use these metrics to fuel ideas, understand where to pivot campaigns and target the right customers.
